Some plants, insects, and landscape of southern utah (in bad resolution but whatever)

I heard an owl or something last night. I hope it was an owl. I came here to avoid dangerous animals but their nooses are always so weird, you can't tell wtf they are. It was probably an elephant or a pygmy hippo. Now I'm taking in another windows vista

I also think I had a realization about the difference between owl noises and hawk noises, hawks are awake in daylight so they make a screeching noise because there's more noise, including visual noise. But at night it's more quiet, it's dark, not much is awake, so they make this softer cooing noise for what ever reason. Maybe, idk And are ant antennas evolved from their fourth pair of legs? What sense evolved first? Vision or smell? Or maybe at the same time.
